logline: For generations foster care has been a civil rights battleground for LGBTQIA+ youth and families; since the dawn of the LGBTQIA+ movement queer people have struggled to be recognized as worthy of family in the United States. Today amidst extremist anti-LGBTQIA+ backlash, three young LGBTQIA+ activists of color channel their experiences in foster care to envision a brighter future centering youth and LGBTQIA+ equality– fighting for a chance to reshape the world for the better.
